Our Alcove helps couples and individuals reflect, communicate, and work through relationship topics. This Privacy Policy explains what information Our Alcove collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We may use service providers to operate the app, such as hosting, email delivery, AI processing, logging, and infrastructure providers. These providers process data on our behalf to provide and maintain Our Alcove.

Data Security

User data is encrypted in transit using secure connections such as HTTPS and WSS. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Users can request deletion of their Our Alcove account in the app:

  1. Open Our Alcove.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Under Privacy, tap Delete my account.
  4. Confirm with the account password and the required confirmation phrase.

Account deletion starts a 14-day deletion window. During this period, users can sign in and restore the account. After 14 days, deletion is processed and cannot be reversed.

When an account is deleted, Our Alcove deletes or anonymizes account data associated with that account, including profile information, account credentials, private solo content, saved personalization data, and relationship or session data associated with the deleted account, subject to partner-account handling.

Some limited records may be retained where required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, service integrity, or deletion audit purposes.
